You gave the hungry an apple
Then you made them your slaves

You created anger
That we took to the grave

We were happy then
But you took it away

You left us lying there  
Dying and unable to say

That we hated you
With your whole soul

You left a smog that
Made our lungs black as coal

Your words are hollow
And your emotion fake

You never give
You only take

Bring me a bottle of whiskey
Bring me vodka too

I wanna drown in my absinth dreams
Far away from you

And now I bid you
a more than fond Farwell

but it would be a lie
to say its been swell
